Tractorview.com A blog by Gary Chambers

Tractor View is a blog about farming to technology and everything in between. It’s written by Gary, a Realtor from Drumheller Alberta Canada. Gary’s blog success is a result of a creative approach to blogging. Instead of focusing on Real Estate stats and mortgage rates, he blogs about the things he is interested in. And as a result the blog is very interesting to follow.

People follow him and get to know him on a personal level. Part of Gary’s success also rests in his dedication to his blog. By regularly writing new posts Gary keeps his regular community who follows him and gets new leads every time he writes a new article.

Real Estate Tangent

A blog by Elizabeth Newlin

Real Estate Tangent A blog by Elizabeth Newlin

As Realtor and blogger Elizabeth puts it, “I’m a Real Estate Agent. And a Mom. 47% of one and 53% of the other. I’m not telling which is which. I have a compulsive need to confess my embarrassments and failures. I love Pinot Grigio and bacon equally. If someone would just make a Pinot Grigio with Bacon top notes I would stand in line to buy it. So get on it, People.”

From Arizona, Elizabeth writes a highly entertaining blog about life and Real Estate. Her big win is she is relate able.  People reading her blog gain an instant sense of trust. Once you have won people’s trust you have won their business.

Home buyers are like any other customer. They are people, they are loyal and they like know who they are working with. Elizabeth’s blog hits all those points.

Ianwatt.ca A blog by Ian Watt

Ian Watt takes a completely fresh approach to blogging. All of his posts include a vlog, a short video clip of him speaking about the topic he is interested in.

Ian has developed a loyal following of people from his video blog (vlog), and has won many leads from his strategy. Based out of Vancouver and focusing on condos, he has had people contact him before moving to Vancouver simply because they were following his vlog.

It’s not everybody’s cup of tea, but it is working for Ian. So if you are thinking of creating a blog and like to take videos, this might be the type of blog for you.

Edmonton Real Estate Blog

A blog by Sara MacLennan and Sheldon Johnston

Edmonton Real Estate Blog by Sara McLennan and Sheldon Johnston

Sara McLennan and Sheldon Johnston run a very successful blog about Edmonton Real Estate. It reads more like a news page than it does a blog, but it attracts and garners a large following who are interested in the subject.

I’ve actually used their site as a resource on occasion for information on the Edmonton’s Real Estate market. Why are they succeeding where others haven’t? They write well written and relevant articles about what is effecting their customers now. They are consistent, they write a new article almost every day.

Sara and Sheldon are now seen as the experts in their fields, they are an information resource. The spin offs of this is huge.

For most blogs the secret to success is tenacity. Some of the most famous bloggers of our time wrote 150 to 360 blog articles before getting any attention to their blogs. Blogs take time, but they are worth it.
